LIDA® stands for Lighting Intelligence with DALI

Our LIDA range currently comprises four products:

1. LIDA DALI OEM contactor driver including lamp status monitoring when used in HID luminaires equipped with suitable current-sensing transformer. Contactors are not included in this product. The product is not supplied with an enclosure.
2. LIDA DALI OEM contactor driver to drive switched loads via contactors. Contactors are not included in this product. The product is not supplied with an enclosure.
3. LIDA DALI F Fan Controller - 2 Fans per pcb with slow, medium and high (approx 85%) speeds for each fan controlled separately from just one DALI address per fan. Our current production release is due in June 2009 with one in-ceiling enclosure for control over up to 4 fans per enclosure. Two 25 year accelerated life tests have been completed successfully on the product. Each LIDA-F pcb is 2 channels and each channel is rated at 240mA 240v ac: which suits most energy-saving fans such as the Hunter Pacific Sycamore, without the need for contactors.

The LIDA DALI OEM component (products 1 and 2 above) offers one or two channel control over relays and contactors via mains voltages, feedback on lamp status for each channel (where applicable) and device settings such as on or off for power on and system failure.

Features

• 1 to 2 circuits of mains to contactors
• Lamp failure reporting via DALI using integral current detection circuitry (requires suitable external current sensing transformer - contact our engineers for details)
• DALI control
• Integral power on delay between channels to avoid contactor chatter
• Bitswitch selectable options including NC or NO operation and one or two channel control
