  • The Cloud NZ. This major venue for the Rugby World Cup featured hundreds of sequencing lights using Control Freak Showpro, DMX Splitters, and DMX to DALI DIDIOs.

In addition to the sequencing lighting, Control Freak DIDIOs were installed for the house lighting and VIP area

Custom code was written for fire/panic interfaces, pushbutton manual control and DMX to DALI translation.

  • Pitt St Mall Sydney. Creative's new DMX512 splitter repeaters have been installed for the new mall lighting features.
  • Sydney Town Hall. Creative's SLAMMO LED dimmers have been installed for stage one of the project, with more specified for upcoming stages.
  • QRail stations with DIDIO control includes automatic 100hr burn-in and occupancy sensing
Projects include Loganlea, Woolowin, Taringa, Moorooka, Dinmore, Coorparoo, Newmarket, Deagon, Enoggera, Banyo, Darra, Rockhampton, Bethani, Toowong, Springfield and many more.
  • Ergon DALI green star projects in Rockhampton (new & CEC Building) and Mackay. Two of these Ergon projects for John Goss Projects are controlled by a combined total of 20 DIDIO 7017, 20 Clipsal DCBM1-168, and more than 280 light and motion sensors.
Creative Lighting have provided complete AutoCAD Layout and Wiring Diagrams as well as the all-important Functionality Statements. In addition to manufacture and supply of lighting control, Creative are also providing programming and commissioning assistance for both projects. The other project CEC Building level 3 refurbishment was done for Q Build and finished on time and working well with the same combination of Clipsal and Control Freak products, though we changed the sensor manufacturer to Takex.
  • Australian Technical College (Gladstone, Queensland)for John Goss Projects with 9 DIDIOs (5 with E-DALI intercommunications) and 3 LIDA-D
  • Winter Olympics (Vancouver Canada) - the Winter Olympic Rings (the big ones the snowboarder appeared through in the main stadium) used 6 DIDIO 7037 DMX to DALI translators together with 125 Osram Qti-DALI ballasts and Osram FQ High output lamps, all from Creative.
  • Queensland Performing Arts Centre (Brisbane, Australia) - new SLAMMO V3.4s controlled by more than one universe of DMX using coarse, fine & vector mode. The dimming, we are told by our client, is "beautiful". Completed just in time for the live broadcast of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The Queensland Performing Arts Centre was awarded a Lighting Excellence Award from the Queensland chapter of the I.E.S. for designers Maunsell/Bassett Consulting. The project is controlled by over 100 SLAMMO LED dimmers. Already regarded as a benchmark for the best lighting control equipment in Australia with its GrandMa dimmer system for the theatres, the $34 million refurbishment to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre featured extensive use of leds to replace front of house lighting, and they are all controlled by over 100 Control Freak SLAMMO DMX-512 dimmers. In addition to the SLAMMOs for the Concert Hall's front of house lighting, Creative Lighting have also supplied SLAMMO led power supplies and Tridonic Tallex led luminaires for the lift lights, Osram linearlight leds and SLAMMOs for the bars, SLAMMOs with simple rotary pot control for the change rooms, and custom SLAMMO 5v and 7.5v LED dimmers for aisle lights in both the Lyric Theatre and Concert Hall.

  • Chinatown Mall (Brisbane, Australia) 42 x SLAMMO v2.5 3-channel LED dimmers controlled by our Showpro v4.24 are in control at Chinatown Brisbane.
More than a dozen of the SLAMMOs are supplied in IP66 enclosures which are suitable for loads of up to 200W per SLAMMO. The power supplies are remote-mounted, DIN-rail type Meanwell 240-24VDC.
  • Tumo Centre for Creative Technologies. Advanced PC-controllable and standalone lighting controllers (Armenia) In conjunction with Epygi Labs in the United States, 60 DIDIO's are being installed in a project in Armenia.
The project features both managed and unmanaged modes for the DIDIOs, allowing a central PC to monitor and take control of the lighting at any time, otherwise the DIDIOs accept triggers from pushbuttons and sensors and act on in-built timers. A copy of the functionality statement for this project can be downloaded here.
  • William McCormack Place (Cairns, Australia). DIDIOs, LIDA-F, SLAMMOs and LIDA v1.4 throughout.
86 x LIDA-F (8-channel relay output or 4-channel fan output) controllers were supplied to Clipsal for the green star rated William McCormack Place project in Cairns, Queensland. DIDIO 7001 controllers, LIDA v1.4 DALI AC CFL & relay controllers, SLAMMOs LED dimmers and an ADDICT-sys kit make up the rest of the Control Freak products in the installation. The new LIDA-F suits multi-speed DALI control of fans such as Hunter Pacific's Sycamore fan.

  • King George Square (Brisbane, Australia)
100 SLAMMO pcbs have been installed at King George Square  (Brisbane, Australia)
  • Telstra high rise in George Street Brisbane. The CBD high rise building is outlined in rgb leds controlled by Control Freak SLAMMO DALI dimmers, with a Control Freak DIDIO colour and sequence control system, with custom programming by Creative Lighting. Creative used its own unique DALI Simulator programme to visualise the end result including colour change and sequencing. Design of the project was by Deepi Naru at NDY Light, and solutions provider was the Lighting Group with installation by Stowe. The building is owned by Charter Hall.
  • The Ipswich City Council's \nocturnal enclosure for bilbys features a Control Freak DIDIO DALI controller. Creative designed the lighting and control to automatically ramp up the dimmable fluorescent and Control Freak LIDA DALI HID lighting over a one hour period for 'dawn' lighting at night, and a separate 'dusk' lighting sequence during the day. There is also a SLAMMO led dimmer for the sign leds in the walk through tunnel. The hopping mice and bilby tenants are in and happy: the lighting has completely fooled them into a reverse natural cycle so they can be seen actively during our day and sleep during our night.
